As an M&A Manager at Swegon, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future growth through strategic acquisitions. About the position:
We are looking for an M&A Manager who will manage and support M&A activities for the Swegon Group, contributing to our growth strategy with a strong acquisition agenda. For the right candidate, this is a opportunity to take ownership of the entire M&A process, including pipeline management, opportunity assessment and valuation, commercial negotiations, managing Due Diligence processes and providing supporting documentation for decision.
You will work closely with our global executive team, including the CEO and CFO within a global matrix environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills and coordination with several internal and external stakeholders.
The position is based at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Your responsibilities
- Assess opportunities from a commercial and financial perspective and prepare valuations as well as business cases, supporting documentation and presentations for decision for the Executive team and Board of Directors.
- Lead and support negotiations with external parties and preparation of agreements.
- Manage the Due Diligence process with support from internal and external stakeholders and identify, document and communicate key risks and findings.
- Assist in building our M&A pipeline by maintaining regular contact with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring relevant transactions in the market as well as managing professional deal sourcing when relevant.
- Assist in follow up of previous acquisitions and defined integration tasks.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant work experience from M&A activities including analysing companies, investments, valuations, commercial negotiations and communicating your analyses to decision makers.
- Experience from Project management in an environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. (Other European languages beneficial).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management or related field.

To succeed in this role, you possess commercial and analytical skills and are capable of handling multiple tasks with various stakeholders, teams and countries in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You are used to handle a large set of information, have the ability to prioritize and at the same time keep focus on the details. Effective communication with different stakeholders in a collaborative and trustworthy manner is essential. Integrity and the ability to manage sensitive information are crucial as well as a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
